We utilized the Nexus Uni research platform to conduct keyword searches of Head and Neck Cancer Legislation, Statutes, and Administrative Codes. We removed any legislation or statutes that were unrelated to Head and Neck Cancer awareness, treatment, coverage, or prevention. The results were sorted by federal or state policy and then stratified by state.

Our search used several keywords: Head and Neck Cancer, Oropharyngeal Cancer, Oral Cancer, and Laryngeal Cancer.

Finally, we conducted an online search of state and federal government websites to assess for any policy that was not provided via our Nexus Uni search.

Our search did not include Human Papillomavirus (HPV) or HPV vaccine policy. Information on HPV and HPV vaccine policy can be found here.
